COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS OF A SYSTEM UNDER HEADOF- LINE REPAIR APPROACH USING GUMBELHOUGAARD FAMILY COPULA
This paper develops a new mathematical model of a system with a novel approach, which consists of two independent repairable subsystems. The model is analyzed under “Headof- Line” repair policy considering two types of repair between two successive transitions at a stage contrast to the normal practice of assuming single type of transition in all states. Supplementary variable technique, Laplace transformation and Gumbel-Hougaard family copula techniques are applied to obtain the availability and cost analysis of the system. At last some numerical examples have been taken to illustrate the model.
